This is a great time of shaking. I have never seen so many people at one time being shaken to their very core. So we find ourselves in the best and worst of times. It just depends on what our eyes are fixed on. If it is our circumstance, for many it is the worst of times. But if our eyes are fixed on Jesus, it is truly the best of times, for His presence is being poured out ever increasingly. There is great peace and joy at His feet. And every promise He has spoken to us individually and corporately as His body remains as true today as it ever was. So this is the time to press into the Lord, to invest our time with Him extravagently, for as we do this we will never be disapointed but instead will experience incredible peace and joy overflowing. It is in this overflow of Gods goodness, His Glory, that we can reach out to a desperate world, paralyzed in fear, and offer them what God so freely gives to all who will seek Him first. God is inviting us to go deep with Him. He wants to reveal great mysteries to us that He has held for us to be searched out in this time. So it is a time to seek the Lord first and set aside our busyness. It is for a time such as this that we have been born, to see God and His Glory manifest among His people. Come Holy Spirit, we love Your Presence.

Scott,
This is beautiful! Come Holy Spirit. It's very encouraging and timely. God has been speaking to me a lot about my own personal busyness. There is great joy at peace at His feet. Thanks for the exhortation to spend time with Him extravagantly! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
