Well, I am just getting going.

I have traveled as a short-term missionary both locally and internationally -- taking trips to the Caribbean, Brazil and Norway. I have been blessed to have ministered in hundreds of churches over the years, including: non-denominational, Baptist, AG, Full Gospel, Lutheran, Presbyterian and Vineyard Christian Fellowships.

My passion is to see the church of Jesus Christ become one body working together to advance the Kingdom and see the lost saved-- and no haggling over theology! I love to see my supernatural God and Biblical principals in action! I enjoy teaching, writing, the laying on of hands and prophetic ministry that touches lives.

Ordained with World Harvest Ministries (The Great Commission), and certified by John Paul Jackson and Dennis Cramer schools of ministry, I look forward to meeting and energizing the body of Christ to do great things for Jesus.

Stand Up - Laughing a Little

I like to laugh-- it's one of the things I enjoy about my wife, Mary Anne-- she makes me laugh. Laughter is the music of the soul -- even if mine is heavy metal sometimes.

I just received the details of a class reunio… Continue

Everybody Gets to Play

John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard movement, used to say "everyone gets to play." What he meant was that the leadership wasn't going to be doing all the ministry. And that is a good thing because, in most denominations, the pastoral and overseeing authorities were r… Continue

Relationship With God is Key

Many Christians seem to fall into three groups when it comes to the level in which God is allowed to act in their lives. The first group doesn’t believe that God will act personally on their behalf, therefore; they can’t expect a… Continue

The Perfect Church, No Kidding, You're It!

Every time I press for things that I believe are important in church, I hear, "There is no perfect church." Personally, I think that is an excuse for bad behavior. Here's why. I will certainly agree that there are no perfect people, and the church has plenty of those.… Continue

Your "laughter" blog is really great. Love the whimsical tone. I smiled and chuckled the whole time I was reading it. Great anecdotes. Any chance you wouldn't mind posting it here on RF too? :) You are an excellent writer. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hi David,
Your heart for missions is very encouraging. You are clearly focused on God's Kingdom. I'm inspired! Your blog post is GREAT! I'm going to read your other blog postings as well. thanks for including them. I have the same passion to see the church of Jesus Christ become one body working together to advance the Kingdom of God. I know I can get caught up in the day to day life stuff and even forget to pray for my co-workers. Thanks for the encouragement.
