Ministry

Ministry We believe in the present day work and ministry of the Holy Spirit, that God has given gifts to his children and that we are to use these gifts to strengthen, bless and encourage one another. We encourage people to use their gifting to minister to others and therefore build up the body of Christ. Our desire is to see this ministry express itself in a "naturally supernatural" way; ministry that is concerned about the dignity of the individual, never exploiting or exposing people when we minister to them. We mean to stay away from platform ministry that "leaves it to the experts;" we want to give everyone an opportunity to be used by God. We will de-emphasize ministry that is characterized by hyperbole and showmanship; ministry that draws attention to the one ministering and exposes the one being ministered to. It is our desire to minister with humility, kindness and respect for each individual.
